Should Newark and Sherwood District Council spend £5.5 million upgrading council and private-rented homes for energy efficiency?
Newark and Sherwood District Council has secured £1.9 million from the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund and £1.056 million from the Warm Homes: Local Grant. Combined with match funding, the total investment of £5.5 million will fund insulation, solar panels, battery storage and low-carbon heating in both council-owned and private-rented homes over the next two years.
