Should North East Lincolnshire Council seek faster, larger regeneration funding than current Labour government allocations provide?
North East Lincolnshire secured almost £90 million from the previous Conservative government for town-centre and Cleethorpes projects. The current Labour government has allocated £40 million in Pride in Place funding for Grimsby, Immingham and Habrough, to be spent over ten years. The council states this slower timetable will not deliver the major projects previously funded.
