Should there be a public inquiry into the allegations against Andrew Tate?

Andrew Tate faces dozens of UK charges including multiple counts of rape, human trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault and offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. He and brother Tristan were arrested in Miami in July 2026 on a UK extradition request and remain in US custody fighting it. In July 2026 Tate gave an extended interview to Jack Neel recounting his story and views on his legal troubles shortly before that arrest.

Why do we need an enquiry? The police need to do their job properly, finding proof, and trying to disprove the proof. An enquiry will not help, it will cost more and take more time for this to get to court.

Having watched the full podcast on Jack Neels channel and following the story closely there is something amis. I do not like Andrew Tate but he has given a lot to young men that have got behind his BS. He is alround net +. His arrest seems like a witch hunt. He has embarresed Kier Starmer and is now being punished. Made up charges. Given he is a public figure if the state has nothing to hide the investigation should be done in the open. Or i fear there will be civil unrest.
