Is Labour doing a good job on housing?

Labour pledged to build 1.5 million new homes over the parliament through housing associations, council targets, and more planners. Just over 300,000 homes have been completed in its first 18 months, missing the pace needed. An Ipsos poll shows 49% think the government is doing a bad job on housing, with 33% struggling to pay rent or mortgages amid high prices.
