Is Reform UK imploding from within?

Reform UK is preparing for its national conference in Birmingham in September 2026. The party has experienced reported infighting at its headquarters, tensions between long-standing members and recent Conservative defectors, disputes over policy direction, and scrutiny of Nigel Farage's finances and leadership return in 2024. Farage recently resigned as MP for Clacton in July 2026 over standards investigations but won the subsequent by-election on 13 August with a substantial majority.

Yes. And a good thing too. Reform and Restore are stuffed with corrupt old men who in many cases have documented sympathies for dictators. We already wasted a generation defeating these incompetent, greedy fools once. Let's not do it again.

In turmoil? Absolutely. Imploding? Decidedly not. Political parties often come under times of strife as they come into their own and fully embrace an identity. It's happened to all parties before, and it will happen to all parties to come.
