Should the government create a new High Street Organised Crime Unit and recruit 75 officers?

The government plans to allocate £20 million to enhance law enforcement against organised crime on high streets. This includes a new multi-agency coordination cell at the National Crime Agency and 75 new officers across the NCA, Greater Manchester Police, West Midlands Police, and a Kent-Essex joint unit. Trading Standards will receive £6 million to tackle sham businesses in at-risk areas.
