Was blocking the assisted dying bill in the Lords the right call?

MPs approved a bill legalising assisted dying in England and Wales by 314 to 291 on 20th June 2025. The bill failed after Lords amendments ran out of time. Supporters blame Lords for frustrating MPs' will, while opponents say it ensured proper scrutiny.
