Should MPs in the UK face a term limit?
UK MPs are currently elected for the length of a Parliament, up to five years, with no limit on the number of times they can stand for re-election. Voters decide at the ballot box, and mechanisms like recall petitions already exist to remove underperforming MPs between elections. Proposals for term limits, often two or three terms, have been discussed to reduce career politicians but are not in law, unlike recent House of Lords reforms introducing age and participation limits.

Yes, and there should also be upper age limits.
Some MPs don't even turn up to parliament for more than 70% of the time! It's absurd that this allowed.
