Is the government doing enough to tackle rising antisemitism in the UK?

Antisemitic incidents remain at historically high levels in the UK. The Community Security Trust recorded 3,700 incidents in 2025 (second-highest annual total) and 1,926 in the first half of 2026 alone, a 21% rise on the same period in 2025, with assaults up 82%. Under the current government, record protective security funding of over £250 million has been allocated for policing Jewish communities over three years, alongside £7 million for education, an independent review of antisemitism in schools and colleges, updated hate crime guidance, and national security designations of groups linked to attacks.

The government is fueling antisemitism, not tackling it. They allow blatant anti-Semitic chants and banners at the hate marches, and give credence to the terrorists by recognising a non-existant state and quoting their debunked casualty numbers. The Jew-haters now feel enabled and face no consequences.

The government appears to be antisemetic in itself and a long way from cracking down on antisemitism, especially from the Islamic communities in the UK.

It's not doing anything as far as I can see. They just aren't a big enough voting bloc for our politicians to care about: 277,613 at the last census. Any other group this small and so heavily victimised would have their own Tsar and a Committee. Something doesn't smell right...

From what i can see, its doing nothing and is making a bad situation worse with its lamentable fondness for Israel's enemies whom they are too blinkered to recognise as our enemies. Edited

Most of the reports of antisemitism are in fact complaints by zionists that other people aren’t fond of their support for genocide. This includes accusations of antisemitism against Jewish people with a conscience.
