Vote on 8 referendums a day, and every vote updates your live political profile. 8 referendums go live each day on the issues in the news, and each settles at midnight with its result split by leaning, party backed, region, age and gender.

Results describe refnation members, people who chose to take part. They are not a poll and do not represent the UK. The full method is on How results are calculated.

Please describe results as the votes of refnation members, never as the view of the UK or of “voters” in general, and link to the referendum the figure comes from. A suggested line:

• A headline result such as “36% Yes” is a result, not a headcount: it gives each of seven political leanings an equal say. Please don't write it as “36% of members voted Yes”.
• Figures for a group (an age group, a party's backers) come with the number who voted. Please include it, and treat any group under 50 as small.

• The result of any settled referendum, split by leaning, party backed, region, age and gender, with the number of voters in each group.
• A referendum on the story you are covering, on the next day's ballot, with its result the following morning.
• Comment and interviews from the founder, including at short notice for radio.
• The logo and screenshots, on request.
