Should only British citizens be allowed to vote in UK general elections?
UK parliamentary general elections are currently open to British citizens, citizens of the Republic of Ireland, and qualifying Commonwealth citizens who are resident in the UK and aged 18 or over. British citizens living overseas can also register if they were previously resident or registered here. Qualifying Commonwealth citizens must have leave to remain or not require it. EU citizens from countries other than Ireland, Cyprus and Malta cannot vote in general elections.

Yes, only UK citizens should be able to vote in national elections. Legal residents should be able to vote in local elections.
Only residents should be able to vote in UK. Citizens who are not resident (especially those who are only not resident for tax purposes) should not be allowed to vote
Foreigners who pay taxes in the UK should be able to vote. No taxation without representation.
In a homogenous society rules which seem bizarre might exist because they work & which on balance benefit all - Irish being able to vote - In a disrupted society & where untrammeled immigration has been criminally permitted/facilitated for purely Political advantage from the left & Globalist interests the natives have to protect themselves tgrir families & their land from those who would destroy that culture & history & forcefully impose their own.
Voting should absolutely be restricted to citizens. It is a basic principle of what it means to be a democratic country - the people of the country should elect leaders, not the citizens of other countries.
The only time foreign nationals should be allowed vote in UK general elections is where countries have reciprocal arrangements like between the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
This seems incredibly obvious, with one caveat - there may need to be a special case made for Irish citizens living in Northern Ireland. Outside of that I see no problem at all with requiring citizenship as a precondition for voting.
Very simple if you live in the uk, what happens here affects you, if you don't live here then no vote should be given to you.
I can see no legitimate reason for anyone other than British citizens for having the vote.
Also should have lived in country or been British citizens for at least 16 years. Same as our children have to wait to vote on their future.
