Should Zionism be classified as racism?
Zionism is the national movement for Jewish self-determination in Israel. UK law and policy do not classify it as racism and have adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which cites denying Jewish self-determination or claiming Israel's existence is racist as potential antisemitism. A 1975 UN resolution equating the two was repealed in 1991, but the claim has resurfaced, including in the Green Party's October 2026 conference motion defining Zionism as racist ethnonationalism.

Zionism treats anyone who isnt jewish as non-human The litteral definition of racism
Please keep my faith in humanity and have this as a no majority. I think the Greens have gone crazy.
Wild concept here, but you can oppose settlement expansion, far right Israeli ministers and champion a two state solution without declaring the fundamental existence of a Jewish state an illegitimate crime.
Nationalizm is not racism.
Zionism is the Jewish right to self determination, how can that right be racist?
Of course it’s racist. Ethnic supremacy is racist no matter which group is advocating it, and we’re watching the horrific end results play out in real time. Not all Jewish people are zionists, and not all zionists are jewish. Antizionism is not antisemitism.
