Should the government scrap the £2bn Extended Producer Responsibility packaging levy?

Yes 80%No 20%5 votes cast

Defra says the scheme shifts waste costs from taxpayers, raises over £1 billion yearly and supports 25,000 jobs. The Bank of England, British Retail Consortium and major manufacturers say the levy is adding to food-price inflation.
