Britain needs a written constitution. Yes or No?

The United Kingdom operates under an uncodified constitution made up of statutes, common law, conventions and works of authority. Proposals for a single written document have periodically been discussed by politicians, academics and campaign groups. No major party currently has a firm commitment to introduce one.
