Has the UK become a joke country with 7 prime ministers in 10 years?
Since 2016 the UK has had seven prime ministers: David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak, Keir Starmer, and one more after Starmer. This is the highest rate of turnover for nearly two centuries. Frequent changes have coincided with major events including Brexit implementation, the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic aftermath, and successive cost-of-living pressures.
