Should the government subsidise household solar panel installations?
The UK government currently supports domestic renewables through schemes such as the Warm Homes Plan, which offers 0% loans and grants for solar panels and batteries on homes. Solar installations have risen sharply in recent years, contributing to summer grid surpluses that require additional balancing and storage measures.

It would seem a better idea to subsidise the small nuclear reactors across the UK, they provide cheap, reliable power with incredible levels of safety. People dislike nuclear because of Chernobyl, and other disasters.
