Should the UK adopt a mixed public-private healthcare system like most developed countries?

Many developed countries blend public funding with private provision or social insurance, and the NHS already contracts private firms for services, recently spending nearly £1bn over three years on insourcing to tackle backlogs. Long NHS waiting times have driven more patients to pay privately, raising concerns about a two-tier system while government plans continue using private capacity under the 10 Year Health Plan.

The management of the NHS is completely unfit for purpose. Rip out the terrible management layer and bring in private sector expertise.
No. Support the NHS. And mostly because they won't look at the countries where healthcare is sacred... They will look at the countries where it's profit seeking & that's just...uncivilised in the 21st Century. We seemed to have outsourced a lot so far to a specific country with the worst health outcomes despite the best medical science & technology. There are other countries with better ideas about keeping humans alive! And not just profit!
