Should the UK build hybrid warships instead of new destroyers?

The Ministry of Defence plans to scrap a new destroyer programme and build at least six hybrid vessels equipped for drone operations. The outgoing Prime Minister has committed to publishing the defence investment plan before the July Nato summit. The Treasury has not committed extra funding to close capability gaps.
