Being trans can involve drugs and surgery which make huge profits. This bill would prevent legitimate criticism of the industry that has sprung up atound trans. It would also be very dangerous for young people who may be autistic or girls struggling with puberty who think this is an easy answer for them.
Meant to vote yes. Counselling is talking therapy only. Transitioners need to be aware of their options when they are considering radical surgery and lifelong medical intervention. We wouldn't accept less from professionals in other field in health care.
Yes, because it conflicts with another piece of law. Gender critical belief ( the belief that sex is real and that gender is not a socially or personally useful way of describing your personality) is protected under the Equality Act as a belief "worthy of respect in a democratic society" (Forstater case). So I can say this to a dysphoric child. My right to free speech stands.

Youngsters can be confused and draw wrong conclusions about their sexuality. Thats why they need extensive professional counselling over a period of more than one year. Conversion therapy remains quite wrong.
