THE UNPERSUADABLE

The Britain You Want

You want a state that spends less on consultants and more on public loyalty — you'd scrap the monarchy, keep the NHS untouched, and stop the government wasting money on shopfront crackdowns nobody asked for. Yours is a Britain that's left-leaning on institutions and money, but sceptical of grand redesigns like written constitutions or navy overhauls — you'd rather fix what exists than reinvent it.

Vs Britain

On the six-in-fourteen split, you're a genuine outlier: when 82% said Britain is too London-centric, you said no; when 73% wanted a written constitution, you said no; even the modest majority for teacher pay rises didn't move you. You're not reflexively contrarian — you agreed with the country on Labour's threat to the Union and on cutting consultancy contracts — but your instinct is to check the crowd's homework, not join it.

Blind Spots

Fourteen votes cast, but only four carry a clear political signal, and huge swathes — immigration, welfare, housing, justice, the economy proper — remain untouched. Right now you're legible mainly through governance and defence; the rest of you is still unwritten.

What's Next

This is early days — four scored votes is a sketch, not a portrait — but the throughline (institutional left, instinctively unpersuaded) is already visible. Vote on immigration or welfare next and we'll see whether that scepticism holds or bends; either way, the picture gets truer every time you show up.
