The Welfare-State Hawk

Who they are

You want a hard-shelled Britain: nuclear-capable, NATO-loyal, deportation-ready, sceptical of banning parties or breaking up the union — but inside that shell, a state that pays for social care, distrusts the finance sector's grip on the economy, and backed marriage equality and UBI without hesitation. It's a fortress with a welfare floor, not a small state with a big flag.

Vs the UK

You mostly move with the country — siding with the majority on 14 of your 20 votes, from beavers to nuclear defence to deporting foreign offenders. But you break from the crowd where it matters to you: you rejected banning extremist parties when the nation was split down the middle, and you called transgenderism no threat to British culture while 42% of the country disagreed with you in the other direction — a genuine minority stance, held plainly.

Your circle

You run with your circle roughly two votes in three, closest to Jim — lockstep on Defence, but you part ways on Economy, which tracks: your welfare instincts are your own, not borrowed. GrahamBurnbyCrouch is your real foil, agreeing barely a third of the time, mostly falling apart on Rights — the marriage equality and transgender votes are likely where that rift opens.

What's next

Eighteen scored votes is enough to see the shape but not the whole animal — your Welfare/Defence split is the throughline to watch. Vote again this week and I'll tell you whether that tension holds or one side finally wins out.
