Should the government introduce a wealth tax to fund adult social care reform in England?
Prime Minister Andy Burnham has described England's adult social care system as broken and in need of reform. The current means-tested system requires people with assets above £23,250 to largely fund their own care, with one in seven paying over £100,000. Burnham is seeking cross-party agreement on reform and is willing to expend political capital despite past failures.
