The UK government is launching a consultation on cracking down on unlicensed casinos sponsoring British sports teams. Everton FC signed a three-year sleeve sponsorship deal with crypto casino Stake.com, which surrendered its UK licence last year. The Gambling Commission had warned clubs against such deals with offshore operators.
