Should data centres be allowed to opt into the NSIP regime for faster planning approval?

The UK Government is changing planning rules so data centres can opt into the NSIP regime. This aims to shorten approval times for major projects to support AI development and energy infrastructure. Housing Secretary Steve Reed says the changes will help make the UK a world leader in infrastructure.
