Should the government spend an extra £15bn on defence from 2026 to 2030?
The UK Government has announced an extra £15 billion for the defence investment plan covering 2026-27 to 2029-30. This increases overall defence funding in the coming years. The announcement was made in Parliament.

Yes, and emphasis on *Defence*! Fund our military to protect our own, not to cause chaos in another land!
Yes, under the conditions of course. The money should be spend on modernization of the defence forces, they need to become defence (not used in some remote wars) and not spend for example on pensions for ex military. British Army: ~108,000–109,000 total / ~73,000–74,000 Regulars while Army General Officers: 211. One general per 350 personnel. WWII proportion was 340 serving generals, 2.5–3 million soldiers - one general per 7,352 soldiers.
