Should the UK define a long-term strategic approach to a post-conflict Russia?

No one has a clue what post ukraine russia will look like, so little useful planning to do until we see how things land.
Russia is a known quantity, and a world power. Ukraine is a corrupt cesspool of EU, UN and globalist interests. Frankly, I'd rather align with Russia.
