Should the UK introduce a performers list for pharmacists?

The Royal College of Pharmacy has told Parliament that a performers list for pharmacy could assure pharmacists are qualified and competent for safe care. It would act as an extra mechanism alongside fitness-to-practise referrals to the General Pharmaceutical Council. The Health Bill would transfer power to create such a list from NHS England to the secretary of state or an NHS body.
