The verdict
Voters overwhelmingly rejected cutting school holidays, and the most-respected No case began by conceding the parents' problem before insisting “schools aren't simply childcare facilities”. Childhood, not logistics, set the tone.

The verdict
Yes won overwhelmingly, and its best-rated voice was blunt: failing the basics yourself leaves you “in no position to be tutoring them”. The No side answered that a GCSE certifies little about teaching, and that the internet and AI fill the gap.
